The Chelsea squad have boarded their jet to Los Angeles as they fly stateside for a 10-day pre-season tour.

New signing Michy Batshuayi was among those in the Blues travelling party for the flight ahead of exhibition games against Liverpool, Real Madrid and AC Milan across the pond.

Antonio Conte and his squad have already travelled to Austria this summer, where they lost to Rapid Vienna before last week's victory over RZ Pellets.

And the Chelsea players took to their social media accounts on Sunday as they looked ahead to their time in America.

Batshuayi tweeted: "Taking place in the plane for LA. Lets gooo!"

Captain John Terry, Cesar Azpilicueta, Diego Costa, Eden Hazard and Pedro were also among those snapped ahead of the flight, which departed Gatwick Airport on Sunday morning.

Conte's side will travel on to Michigan from LA and finish the trip in Minneapolis, before returning to Europe for their final pre-season match against Werder Bremen in Bremen.
