Guus Hiddink's second spell as Chelsea boss will come to an end on Sunday after his team host champions Leicester in their final game.

The Blues were in relegation trouble when they hired Hiddink on an interim basis in December and, despite failing to deliver domestic or European cup success, the Dutchman has steered Chelsea to a ninth-place finish.

And Chelsea have thanked Hiddink for the part he played in stabilising the club after Mourinho's whirlwind second spell at the helm.

The 69-year-old was presented with a Chelsea-styled scooter and set of golf clubs also bearing the club crest at their Player of the Season awards ceremony on Friday.

Willian walked away with both the player of the year and players' player of the year gongs, while Eden Hazard's title-deciding equaliser against Tottenham earlier this month won goal of the season.
