Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois admits finishing top this term will provide more satisfaction than in 2015 under former boss Jose Mourinho.
The Blues will be crowned Premier League champions if they beat West Brom at the Hawthorns on Friday.
Chelsea finished a lowly 10th last term and Courtois told talkSPORT: "This year it will be even more special, even more nice because last year was very bad. We had a lot of criticism and a new manager (Conte) came in.
"We also lost a few games near the start and again there were a lot of critics, but we bounced back as a group very hard.
"We have played very well, so from that point of view it will be great to lift the trophy very soon.
"We hope to do it at the first attempt. We know West Brom are a hard team to play against, we had a very tough game here.
"Every opponent who goes there has a hard game, they are eighth in the League and have had a very good year.

"They might not have the pressure to win the game in terms of their League position but nobody wants to be the team that loses and let other guys have their parties.
"They will give us a very hard game there and we have to stay focused like we were at Everton and against Middlesbrough."
