Chelsea trolled by Manchester City fans at the Etihad over club doctor media storm

Not what the doctor ordered: Man City fans wind up Chelsea

A Manchester City fan has dressed as a doctor at today’s game at the Etihad as supporters wind up Chelsea.

And they were not the only people in the stadium to reference the recent media storm around the club’s medical department, with reports from Manchester suggesting the club cheekily included some of the Doctor Who theme tune on the pre-match PA.

Jose Mourinho has found himself at the centre of a media storm over the past week after his criticism of club medical staff Dr Eva Carneiro and physio Jon Fearn in the aftermath of a 2-2 draw with Swansea.

The Chelsea manager refused to apologise after the club removed both staff’s access to the match-day bench.

However the story is far from over and Manchester City fans ensured that Mourinho could not move on from the media storm.

The abuse Chelsea received merely topped off a horrible day for the champions, who were humbled 3-0 by last season's runners-up.
