Chelsea captain John Terry has thrown his support behind Leicester's incredible title tilt this season.

The Foxes were among the bookmakers' favourites to drop into the Championship at the start of the season but are now just one victory from being crowned English champions.

Indeed, Claudio Ranieri's men travel to Old Trafford on Sunday knowing three points will give them an unassailable lead at the top of the league with two games to spare.

However, if Leicester slip up at United, anything other than victory for second-place Tottenham at Stamford Bridge on Monday will also see the Foxes crowned Premier League champions.

And Terry will be hoping Chelsea can have their say in the title shake-up by helping former manager Ranieri to a first league title.

"I mostly voted for Leicester City players in my PFA Team of the Year and I obviously wish them well in their title race this season." Terry told Goal.

"Schmeichel, Drinkwater, Kante, Mahrez, Huth and Morgan, I voted for them all. I just think what they have accomplished is brilliant."
