Daniele Rugani has tested positive for coronavirus, Juventus have confirmed.

In a statement released on Wednesday, Juve confirmed the Italy international has been diagnosed with COVID-19 - but currently has no symptoms of the virus.

Rugani is the second professional footballer to test positive for the virus with Hannover 96 defender Timo Hubers currently in quarantine.

Manchester City's Premier League home game against Arsenal, scheduled for Wednesday night, was postponed as a precautionary measure due to the outbreak.

The Premier League decided the fixture must not go ahead due to a number of Gunners players and staff on February 27 coming in contact with Olympiacos owner Evangelos Marinakis, who on Tuesday confirmed he has contracted Covid-19.

Serie A has been suspended until 3 April due to the outbreak in Italy.

Juventus’ next scheduled game is on 17 March against Olympique Lyonnais in the Champions League.
