Eden Hazard fears Tottenham's Belgian contingent will 'speak too much' if Chelsea allow their title lead to slip.

The Blues are seven points clear of second-placed Spurs with seven remaining games in the race for the Premier Legue crown.

Hazard, Thibaut Courtois and Michy Batshuayi know a number of their title rivals in the Tottenham camp from time spent on international duty with Belgium.

And Hazard is determined to make sure Jan Vertonghen, Toby Alderweireld and Mousa Dembele have no reason to celebrate when the Belgium squad reconvene for June's friendly against the Czech Republic.

"That is why we want to win the trophy because if we go to the national team they will speak too much!" Hazard said to Chelsea's official website with a smile.

"So we need the trophy for Chelsea."

Mauricio Pochettino's men beat Watford in Saturday's lunch-time kick-off to cut the gap to the top, but Chelsea responded with a 3-1 win at Bournemouth to re-establish their seven-point cushion.

The Blues travel to Manchester United on Saturday, while Spurs host Bournemouth, and Hazard has warned there is work to be done.

"We are in a good positon," Hazard added.

Premier League round-up: Chelsea maintain their lead

"[Tottenham] are waiting for us to lose points but if we do the job we will be champions in the end. We have to be ready because in England you never know, you can lose points against every team but we are professional, we know what to do if we want to be champion.

"When we see Tottenham, everything is not done. It is one step closer but we have seven games left to play and we have to be ready for everything."
