England's Joe Hart does the mannequin challenge after Adam Lallana's goal against Spain - on his own

Standard Sport17 November 2016

We've seen clubs from Borussia Dortmund to the Belgium national team take on the mannequin challenge but, on Tuesday, Joe Hart decided to get in on the act too - although he ended up doing the latest social media craze by himself.

Torino's on-loan goalkeeper from Manchester City was filmed standing still for what seemed an eternity after Adam Lallana converted his penalty to hand England the lead in their friendly tie against Spain at Wembley.

The only issue was that none of his teammates did the same.

The 29-year-old appeared to be following pre-match instructions to carry out the mannequin challenge - which has gone viral since being thought up by high school students in America last month - following a goal as Jamie Vardy did it after he scored later in the game alongside Raheem Sterling and Theo Walcott.

Indeed, the goalkeeper was later seen seemingly explaining to the Leicester striker on the bench that he had done the mannequin challenge after Lallana's goal.
