Fulham must avoid defeat against relegation rivals Burnley this evening to keep any faint hopes of staying in the Premier League alive.

With Sheffield United long gone and West Brom joining them on Sunday evening, the bottom three will be confirmed on Monday if the Clarets win - while even a draw would see Fulham needing a remarkable run of results going in their favour.

An almost unbeaten February feels a distant memory with five defeats and one draw in Fulham’s last six games, while the club have failed to score in five of their last seven home league matches.

Date, time and venue

Fulham vs Burnley is scheduled for an 8pm BST kick-off on Monday, May 10, 2021.

The match will be held behind closed doors at Craven Cottage.

Fulham vs Burnley prediction

I’m not expecting too much excitement under the lights on Monday night. These are two poor teams who don’t produce many goals - though Burnley are improving on that front.

Sean Dyche’s side should have enough to confirm their Premier League status and Fulham’s relegation come full-time. It won’t be pretty.

Burnley to win 1-0.
