Hull City midfielder Tom Huddlestone has finally had a haircut - after two-and-a-half years.

The former Tottenham player got his long-awaited cut at the KC Stadium after his recent goal against Fulham.

Huddlestone had been growing his hair to raise money for Cancer Research UK and said he would only cut it when he next scored. That took him two-and-a-half years until he found the net with a 20-yard strike over Christmas. His efforts have so far raised a five-figure sum for the charity.

Hull have already put some of his locks up for auction on eBay after the club's physio chopped a chunk off in celebration. Huddlestone's hair has attracted bids of up to £3,500 so far.
