Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has admitted that he expects more from Spurs in the Europa League this season.
Mauricio Pochettino's side were eliminated in the first knock-out stage by Fiorentina during the previous campaign and have never progressed further than the quarter-final stage in the competition's new format.
The north London club face Azerbaijani minnows Qarabag in their opening Group J game on Thursday night and the Frenchman is determined to ensure that his side does better this time around.

“We know it is a trophy to get and you play only for winning. There is also a possibility to get to the Champions League if you go to the final and win the final.”
Spurs will be installed as overwhelming favourites for this week's clash at White Hart Lane but their remaining group fixtures will be far from straightforward.
