Junior Hoilett expects a scrap when Queens Park Rangers face Aston Villa in Saturday’s relegation showdown at Villa Park.

Bottom-of-the-table QPR are four points behind Villa, who are one place away from the bottom three, and Hoilett, 22 (left), said: “It’s going to be a six-pointer.

“Aston Villa are in the same position that we are in. It’s going to be a scrap and a really important game.”

QPR’s 3-1 victory over Sunderland kept their hopes of Premier League survival alive and, with nine games remaining, Hoilett believes they can escape the drop.

“We are back in the fray,” he said. “Anything is possible. We have a run of games that we can win.”
