Kylian Mbappe to Liverpool: Reds ‘launch bid to sign PSG forward’ in stunning summer move

Liverpool have reportedly launched a sensational bid to sign Kylian Mbappe on loan.

According to the Mirror, the Reds believe they can reach an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain to take the wantaway striker for a year before his expected move to Real Madrid on free next summer.

The Mirror claim the Reds have been encouraged to make the audacious loan move by Mbappe's agent and mother Fayza Lamari, who is a Liverpool fan.

Liverpool have previously attempted to sign Mbappe, when the forward was at Monaco, which the player confirmed last year.

"We talked a little bit, but not too much," he told the Telegraph. "We talked a little bit. I talked to Liverpool because it's the favourite club of my mum, my mum loves Liverpool.

"I don't know why, you will have to ask her! It's a good club and we met them five years ago. When I was in Monaco I met them. It's a big club."

Mbappe has made it clear he will be leaving PSG at the end of his contract next summer. He has turned down a stunning €700m move to Saudi Arabia.
