Young Lille defender Leny Yoro will not be joining Paris Saint-Germain in January, amid links with Tottenham and Manchester United.

It was reported this week that PSG had agreed a deal with Lille for the centre-back, who has been dubbed 'the next Raphael Varane'.

But Lille president Olivier Letang has firmly denied the reports, telling Le Parisien: "Yoro will not leave in January, so there are no negotiations, no discussions contrary to what some suggest.

"I read somewhere that I had set a price, which is completely false."

An emphatic response amid mounting speculation over Yoro's future. Super-agent Jorge Mendes has recently been hired as the youngster's representative, further fueling talk of a possible exit.

Yoro will have just one year on his contract come the summer transfer window, meaning Les Dogues will have to cash in if a new contract cannot be agreed.

Along with the Premier League due, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid have also been linked.
