Champions League Final teams: Tottenham vs Liverpool squads confirmed

Tottenham and Liverpool have both confirmed their squads for the Champions League final.

As expected both Harry Kane and Harry Winks have been included as they step up their recovery from respective injuries, the latter having been cut from England’s Nations League squad due to a lack of playing time in recent months.

Kane has not featured since sustaining a second ankle injury of the season against Manchester City, in their quarter-final, first leg, on April 9 while Winks underwent groin surgery a month ago.

Jan Vertonghen and Davinson Sanchez also shaked off concerns to give Mauricio Pochettino a fully fit squad.

Youngsters George Marsh, Alfie Whiteman and Oliver Skipp have been included in the 26-man party which will be trimmed by three for match day.

Liverpool have included teenager Rhian Brewster in their matchday squad.

The 19-year-old has yet to make a senior appearance and although he was on the bench for the 4-0 semi-final, second-leg comeback against Barcelona at Anfield he was an unused substitute.

Fellow youngsters Ben Woodburn and Curtis Jones did not make the cut but third-choice goalkeeper Caomhin Kelleher has travelled as a change in Uefa regulations means managers are allowed to name up to 12 substitutes for the final.

The Liverpool squad left John Lennon Airport on Friday lunchtime, bound for Madrid. The Reds are preparing for their second successive final, looking to avoid becoming the first team since Valencia in 2000-01 to lose successive finals.
