Manchester City fans plans to stage a protest against Uefa ahead of the club’s appeal against a two-year Champions League ban.
The Premier League champions were found guilty of serious breaches of Financial Fair Play in February, which also saw them fined around £25million.
City immediately launched an appeal, which will be heard before the Court of Arbitration for Sport from Monday to Wednesday next week and could take up to two months to be ruled upon.
The club have always refuted the charges and insist they will be cleared, while fans have long-held grievances towards European football’s governing body.
Now the 1894 Group, which has over 25,000 followers on Twitter, plans to unveil a banner protest against the initial ruling.
A GoFundMepage set up in February raised over £8000.
Four banners have been produced, which will be unfurled at an unnamed location on Friday, hitting out at Uefa.
One will reference the New Order album: Power, Corruption and Lies.
Two others will say “Uefa mafia — corrupting football since 1954” and “FFP — where were you when we were s***.”
Meanwhile, the 1894 Group revealed they turned down City’s invitation to erect banners at the Etihad for behind-closed-door games.
They oppose a return to football before fans are allowed back in and said on Twitter: “We were asked by the club did we want to put our banners in the seats for the closed door games.
"We said no simply because we felt (it) wouldn't be the right thing to do, almost condoning what is going on. The club will probably press ahead, that's their prerogative of course.”
