Man United XI vs Arsenal: Antony in - Starting lineup, confirmed team news, injury latest today

Jonathan Gorrie4 September 2022

Manchester United's deadline day signing Antony has been thrown straight into the starting line-up for today’s visit of Arsenal.

It is Erik ten Hag’s only change from the win at Leicester, as Anthony Elanga makes way.

Antony went on strike to force through an £84million move from Ajax, meaning he hasn't played in three weeks, but starts against a Gunners side who are yet to drop points this season.

Elsewhere, Casemiro is still waiting for his first start and again is alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and captain Harry Maguire on the bench.

The Portuguese talisman, who failed to engineer a desired move away from the club during the summer, had been dropped after returning back late from pre-season.

Victor Lindelof is also on the bench while Anthony Martial again misses out with an Achilles problem.
