Two weeks from now we will be entering the final chaotic hours of the January transfer window but for now much business remains to be completed by the Premier League’s biggest sides.

That has not stopped their attention from shifting to long-term prospects, with a host of major clubs reportedly interested in acquiring Reece Oxford from West Ham.

The 17-year-old was the talk of the Premier League in August after silencing Mesut Ozil in a 2-0 win at the Emirates on Slaven Bilic’s bow in English top-flight football.

Oxford has continued to impress in the Hammers’ youth setup and has now supposedly appeared on the shortlists of Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool.

It is not just the big guns who the Sun claim are interested in the youngster, with Fulham among the Championship sides interested in a loan move for the defender.
