Manchester United target Memphis Depay has hinted at a possible move to Old Trafford on his Twitter profile.

The 21-year-old Netherlands international has been linked with a reunion with former national boss Louis van Gaal ever since the Dutchman took the reins at United last summer.

Van Gaal will likely face competition from Tottenham - who tried to prise Depay away from PSV in the summer - but it seems the winger would favour a move to Old Trafford.

Depay took to social media and favourited a link posted by @PSVULTRAS which mentioned Van Gaal's interest in signing him.

PSV managed to stave off suitors in the summer but manager Phillip Cocu is resigned to losing the starlet at the end of the season.

When asked about interest in Depay, Cocu told Russia's Sport Express: "That's unfortunate, but on the other hand, we must as a club be proud because we have trained him.

"At some point, it becomes clear that he is ready for the next step. And yes, I think he's going to leave PSV after this season."
