Premier League action returned following the international break, and that means one thing, Match of the Day 2 is back!

Liverpool needed to be beat Tottenham to stay in touch with Manchester City in the title race after Pep Guardiola's side beat Fulham 2-0 on Saturday.

But Jurgen Klopp's men were up against a Tottenham team who had won more games on the road than any other Premier League team this season.

In their fight for the top four, Mauricio Pochettino's side would provide stern opposition for the Reds at Anfield.

And in South Wales, Chelsea hoped to continue their push for Champions League qualification travelling to relegation-threatened Cardiff despite a run of four defeats in five on the road.

Mark Chapman presents this week’s episode, with the expert punditry panel of former Liverpool defender Stephen Warnock Shearer and regular analyst Jermaine Jenas also featuring on the show.

Here’s the expected running order for Match of the Day

1 Liverpool vs Tottenham
2 Cardiff vs Chelsea

Viewers with a TV licence can live stream Match of the Day online via the BBC iPlayer from 10.30pm GMT tonight.
