Mats Hummels spills coffee down fresh suit ahead of Arsenal vs Bayern Munich - and Thomas Muller loves it

Arsenal will be hoping for a repeat lapse in concentration on Tuesday evening after Mats Hummels covered himself in coffee ahead of Bayern Munich's trip to London.

The Bayern defender had a warm brew balanced precariously on another item of hand luggage as he marched out of the team hotel to board a coach to the airport.

And much to the amusement of colleague Thomas Muller, Hummels spilt the entire cup down his fresh suit prompting the defender to dart back inside the hotel for a swift outfit change.

Bayern face the Gunners in the second leg of their Champions League last 16 tie at Emirates Stadium following a convincing 5-1 victory at the Allianz Arena last month.

Muller, shown chuckling at his team-mate's misfortune in the video above, capped the first leg victory after goals from Arjen Robben, Robert Lewandowski and a double from Thiago.

Arsenal can only guarantee their passage to the last eight with a 4-0 win - or any victory by a margin of five goals or more - a feat Arsene Wenger concedes his side have very little chance of achieving.

"We have to earn our freedom to play because at the moment we play a little bit with the handbrake on."
