Mauricio Pochettino insists Dele Alli is happy at Tottenham as Europe’s top clubs reportedly consider bids for the England midfielder.
Alli’s stunning recent form – he has scored seven times in his last four Premier League matches – has seen interest grow on the continent, with Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain thought to be watching closely.
Alli signed a new deal worth about £55,000 a week last September and Pochettino said: "It is not now the moment to talk about that. He is happy. I don’t like to talk about rumours.
"It’s not a question of improving his contract and salary every few months. He is happy, he is performing well and that is the most important thing.
"He is performing well, scoring a lot of goals and helping the team achieve their objectives.
"People have been talking about him a lot in the last few weeks and that is fair, because his performances have been fantastic every time he has played."
Alli was signed from Milton Keynes Dons for only about £5million in January 2015. He did not make his first appearance for Tottenham until August that year but has shone ever since.
After scoring 10 goals last season, Alli’s tally for 2016-17 is already 11, with four months of the season still left.

He scored in the 1-1 draw at West Brom last October and will be confident of doing so again in the lunchtime kick-off on Saturday.
Pochettino added: "When you kick off earlier than many of your opponents, it is a good opportunity to put pressure on them."
