Monaco defender Kamil Glik: Tottenham are better now than when we beat them at Wembley

Monaco defender Kamil Glik is remaining wary of the threat that Tottenham will pose the French side tonight, saying the north London club are playing better than they did in the reverse fixture two months ago.

Monaco left Tottenham stunned at Wembley in September after securing a 2-1 win that has helped the Ligue 1 club go to within a point of booking their place in the knockout stages of the Champions League.

Leonardo Jardim's side will now welcome Tottenham to Monaco this evening having not lost a game in all competitions since October while Spurs remain unbeaten in the Premier League this season.

And Glik believes Mauricio Pochettino's side will be a real threat to Monaco's ambitions of progressing to the Champions League round of 16 this evening because they have improved since being beaten at Wembley.

"They are better than when we played them in the first leg," Glik said.

"They come here to win and we must remain highly concentrated."

Spurs must win both their remaining Champions League group matches to be guaranteed a spot in the knockout stages.
