Neil Warnock stays silent over QPR rumours

Shaun Derry admits Neil Warnock is keeping his Crystal Palace players in the dark over a possible move to Queens Park Rangers.

Warnock has been tipped to replace caretaker boss Mick Harford at Loftus Road, providing Rangers come to an agreement with the administrators running Palace.

Derry, 32, says he would prefer Warnock to remain at Selhurst Park but appears to be coming round to the idea the manager will soon be off.

He said: "There are a lot of rumours flying around and we are under no illusions either way. He has not given us any impression of whether he is staying or going, so while he's here we fully respect the manager.

"He respects us as players, he's the manager and until we are told otherwise... we will cross that bridge when we come to it.

"We hope he stays. He's the man for us but only the administrators and Neil know what's going on. All we can do is try to put in the performances for whoever is in charge."
