Gameweek 2 of the Premier League season is done, with 10 more games wrapped up to go with a dramatic first round of fixtures.

The action began on Saturday lunchtime as Liverpool made it two wins from two by brushing Burnley aside at Anfield.

As the schedule moves back to something approaching normality, there were four 3pm BST kick-offs.

As Crystal Palace and Brentford played out a goalless draw, Jack Grealish scored on his home debut for Manchester City as the champions got their season up and running with an emphatic 5-0 victory over Norwich at the Etihad Stadium

Raphinha blasted in a second-half equaliser as a battling Leeds side came back twice to secure a 2-2 draw with Everton. while a brilliant volley by Danny Ings and an Anwar El Ghazi penalty gave Aston Villa an easy 2-0 victory over a poor Newcastle United.

Brighton maintained their 100 per cent record by beating Watford to round off the day.

On Sunday, Manchester United drew 1-1 at Southampton as Tottenham welcomed back Harry Kane as they won 1-0 at Wolves.

The day was brought to a close at the Emirates as Chelsea made easy work of Arsenal, with Romelu Lukaku scoring on his second debut.

West Ham and Leicester City completed the gameweek 2 action on Monday night in east London - with the Hammers recording a thumping 4-1 win to go top.
