Premier League title a way off for Arsenal's Europa League stars, writes Danny Murphy

If Arsenal win the Europa League this season, it would be a very good effort.

There are some excellent teams left in the competition, notably Atletico Madrid, and you have to negotiate 15 games to win it.

They will have been encouraged to see Alexandre Lacazette score three goals in the last two matches, against Stoke City in the Premier League and CSKA Moscow in Europe, having recently returned from a number of weeks out through injury.

His form has been patchy in his first season in English football and he has struggled to justify his £52million price tag, so Arsenal will hope he can have a strong finish to the season.

We saw the best of Arsenal against the Russian outfit on Thursday, when they produced some superb, free-flowing attacking football.

Yet none of this means they are likely to challenge for the Premier League title any time soon.
