PSG vs Man City: Kylian Mbappe and Neymar giving Pep Guardiola sleepless nights

Pep Guardiola has admitted the prospect of facing PSG duo Kylian Mbappe and Neymar has given him sleepless nights ahead of Manchester City's Champions League semi-final showdown in Paris.

Mbappe has been passed fit to face City after recovering from the thigh injury that forced him off at the end of Paris Saint-German's 3-1 win over Metz on Saturday.

Guardiola admits there is no strategy to stop Mbappe and Neymar in transition, but insists he will not tell City to stop their attacking instincts in the first leg.

"I slept well when I was not thinking of them," said Guardiola yesterday. "We have to adjust a little when you play against those players, but we will try to impose ourselves and do what we have done in these five years together.

"It would make no sense [to change] after we fought to get to this stage for the second time [in City's history]. But we are going to concede counter-attacks.

“They have the quality with Mbappe, Neymar, [Angel] Di Maria, [Marco] Verratti, [Leandro] Paredes, the physicality and the personality they have, with Marquinhos and the keeper, too. They have a lot of weapons."

Mbappe has been one of the stars of the Champions League this season and his fitness is a major boost for PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino, who has revealed the French World Cup winner "asks about England" amid speculation around his future.
