Mark Warburton believes QPR are in a good place as they chase an unlikely promotion back to the Premier League.

Rangers are fourth in the Championship after four straight wins and can go third with a win at home against Swansea tonight.

Five points off the automatic promotion places with games in hand on the teams above them, Warburton has urged his side to continue their good run.

“We are in a good place, but there is a long way to go, there are a lot of points still to play for,” he said.

“Any team that puts a consistent run of positive results together can move up the table in this division very quickly, however it works both ways, you can also drop down very quickly — so that consistency of performance and that ability to find a way to grind out a result are the days that can define your season.

“Swansea have players who want to get on the ball and quality up top. They will present us with a formidable challenge, one that we have to meet.”
