Chelsea stars Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois are set to return to action in the club's next pre-season game against Real Madrid on Saturday, with striker Diego Costa also likely to feature in Michigan.
Belgium compatriots Hazard and Courtois were given extended time off after they helped their nation reach the quarter-finals of this summer's European Championships in France.
However, after joining up with the rest of their Chelsea teammates for the US leg of their pre-season tour last week, they are likely to play some part in the Blues' second International Champions Cup game against Real Madrid on Saturday evening.
Striker Diego Costa is also set to make an appearance after missing the 1-0 win over Liverpool.
The Brazilian-born Spain international has seen his future at Chelsea questioned in recent days after he posted a seemingly cryptic message on Instagram alongside a photo with Pedro, Cesc Fabregas, Kenedy and Willian that read: "Thank you very much for all my friends!!!".
However, Standard Sport understands there has been no change to Costa's situation at the club and he will remain at Stamford Bridge despite interest from his former side Atletico Madrid.
Antonio Conte will have to make do without midfielder Fabregas, though, after he was sent off against Liverpool for a late challenge on their new signing Ragnar Klavan.
