Striking skills: Soldado performs 'the dolphin'

Roberto Soldado may have struggled to impress in front of goal since joining Tottenham back in 2013, but the Spaniard is dab hand on ye olde flyboard it seems.

Enjoying his summer vacation, Soldado has posted a series of family photographs on Twitter this month as he prepares for the new Premier League campaign with Tottenham.

But it’s a video post that’s caught our attention.

Chelsea captain John Terry’s Instagram video appeared to show him ‘walking on water’ while on holiday, with what we thought were pretty impressive flyboarding skills.

That was until we caught wind of Soldado’s efforts, in a video that predates the Blues skipper's attempt.

At first we thought Soldado was struggling to maintain altitude as he dropped towards the surface of the sea but, after submerging and disappearing from sight, the Spurs striker resurfaced before carrying out a sensational manoeuvre know to him (and we presume other keen flyboarders) as ‘The Dolphin’

"Amazing experience." he tweeted.

Hats off to him.
