The Football Association may ask Rochdale to explain the actions of fans who charged onto the Spotland pitch after their team’s win over Millwall on Tuesday night.

Millwall manager Neil Harris was angry with the events that followed his team’s elimination from the FA Cup, branding the home supporters "a disgrace".

He claims they berated Millwall fans, players and staff following the 1-0 defeat.

Harris said: "I thought the Rochdale fans were a disgrace at the end.

"As Millwall manager, I am not going to complain about fan bases but my players were treated very badly and me and the staff were abused."

The FA will await the report of referee Tim Robinson, which was due to arrive today, before deciding whether or not to take action against the League One club.

Harris' Lions never got going in the fourth-round replay played on a difficult, sandy surface at Spotland.

Ian Henderson netted the game's only goal eight minutes into the second half to set up a fifth-round clash with either Tottenham or Newport.
