Sky Sports subscribers have another way to catch up with their favourite teams after the broadcaster announced a digital partnership with the Sun.

The agreement will bring the newspaper’s Sun Goals service to Sky customers at no extra cost, allowing customers to watch goals from the Champions League, Premier League and FA Cup on a phone or tablet.

This will come at no extra cost to Sky Sports customers, who pay around £45 a month for access to 116 live Premier League games. This deal comes a season before Sky Sports takes on the rights to show clips to mobile and online users.

Sky’s Director of Content Marketing, Robert Tansey said: "With the beginning of the season upon us this is a great addition for Sky Sports customers to have even more goals at their fingertips.

"Sky offers so many ways to watch across TV, online and mobile, and Sun Goals will add even more fantastic content for our customers from the Barclays Premier League, the UEFA Champions League and much more at no extra cost."

David Dinsmore, Editor of The Sun, said: “This is a fantastic partnership that will give Sky customers access not only to goals and highlights, but also The Sun’s world-class football journalism. We are delighted to be able to introduce The Sun’s football coverage to a wider audience.”
