Tottenham are targeting a move for Blackburn winger Junior Hoilett in January.
Manager Harry Redknapp's admiration for Hoilett has grown this year and the player is thought to be keen to leave Ewood Park. The 21-year-old, who is also a target for Arsenal, is out of contract next summer and unlikely to sign the new deal on offer, even though it would make him one of their highest earners.
Rovers would rather sell Hoilett in the transfer window for around £6million than lose him leave for free when his contract expires.
