Despite his shaky end to the season, Watford goalkeeper Scott Loach is in the initial 40-man England Under-21 squad for this summer's European Championships in Denmark.
The other goalkeepers called up are Blackburn's Frankie Fielding, Jason Steele of Middlesbrough and Reading's Alex McCarthy.
Boss Stuart Pearce will cut one of the quartet from his final 23-man party.
