Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew made three changes to the side which lost to Bournemouth as Emmanuel Adebayor was brought into the starting XI at Swansea.

The former Tottenham striker was introduced in the second period as Pardew's side fell to their fifth straight league defeat at Selhurst Park in midweek, but was handed his full Palace debut for the trip to the Liberty Stadium.

Elsewhere, Yohan Cabaye returned from an ankle injury picked up against Stoke last week, while James McArthur began his lengthy spell on the sidelines.

Jason Puncheon was the only other Palace player to drop out as Jordon Mutch came into Pardew's XI to replace the former Southampton man, who didn't make the squad.

Palace: Hennessey; Ward, Dann, Delaney, Souare; Cabaye, Jedinak (c); Zaha, Mutch, Lee; Adebayor.

Swansea: Fabianski, Rangel, Fernandez, Williams (C), Taylor, Britton, Cork, Routledge, Sigurdsson, Ayew, Paloschi.
