Terriers land Crystal Palace striker

Ian Gibb11 April 2012

Striker Alan Lee will quit Crystal Palace for League One Huddersfield in a £300,000 deal.

Lee, 32, who has netted two goals in four games, is in the final year of his final contract and boss George Burley admits: "He's been offered a three-year deal on more money so it is difficult to stand in his way."

Palace are left with loan strikers in Pablo Counago from Ipswich and Spurs' Jonathan Obika but look for 17-year-old Wilfried Zaha to show his striking credentials tonight in the tricky trip to Portsmouth.

Brentford will give promising centre-back Karleigh Osborne a chance in the home tie with Hull.
