It seems Crystal Palace are going to the wire both on and off the field in their battle for survival.

The purchase of Selhurst Park is still the one remaining sticking point before the CPFC 2010 consortium can complete their takeover.

Time is of the essence as Palace will run out of funds quickly to pay wages and expenses.

Administrator Brendan Guilfoyle said: "I need someone standing alongside me paying the wages and other outgoings within a couple of weeks. Or I have to realise the assets, which means selling players.

"But I'm confident CPFC 2010 will reach an agreement."
