Tottenham will pose a "real problem" for rivals if they manage to add more creativity in the upcoming transfer window, such as Christian Eriksen, says Ian Wright.
Spurs are again set for a big summer as they look to bolster their squad ahead of a likely return to the Champions League next season.
The January transfer window may well be looked upon as a turning point in the race for fourth as Spurs added Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur, both of whom added more guile to the midfield and attack, while Arsenal entered February with no new signings and fewer players.
Christian Eriksen has been earmarked for a return to Spurs after impressing at Brentford on a short-term deal, returning to professional football having recovered from last summer's on-pitch collapse during the Euros.
Eriksen could return on a free transfer and would bring yet more creativity to Antonio Conte's squad, an area in which Wright believes Spurs still lack, and his addition may see them challenge the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City rather than looking down at Arsenal.
“They need creativity in the midfield Tottenham,” Wright told Premier League Productions. “They need something.
“They need a Christian Eriksen-type of player who can knit that team together and then Tottenham are going to be a real problem for people.”
