Dutch international Memphis Depay has welcomed interest from the Premier League and insists only he will decide his future.

The 20-year-old attracted plenty of suitors with impressive displays at the World Cup finals, scoring twice as Louis van Gaal's side finished third in Brazil.

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettiino has been linked with a move for the starlet but is reportedly facing competition from Van Gaal, who wants to reunite with his compatriot at Manchester United.

Depay helped PSV Eindhoven finish fourth in the Eredivisie last season, scoring 12 goals in 32 starts.

The attacker signed a five-year deal with PSV in 2012, but admits he would have to think about certain offers.

"I did my time at PSV but if nice clubs from big leagues ask, of course I will think about it," he told the Sun.

"There is lots of interest but it is an easy option to stay.

"I understand that fans want me to play well this season in Eindhoven, but ultimately I'm the one who decides how my career will look and no one else."
