Tottenham hero Lucas Moura says his sensational Champions League semi-final hat-trick against Ajax is “the best moment” of his career.

The Brazilian scored three times in the second half of Spurs’ semi-final second leg in Amsterdam to help his side over turn a 3-0 deficit to reach the final on away goals.

Lucas struck twice in three minutes shortly before the hour mark, before squeezing home the crucial goal in the 96th minute to spark incredible scenes.

Speaking to BT Sport after the game, Lucas said: "It's amazing. Football gives moments like this that we cannot imagine, so we need to enjoy.

"It's the best moment in my career,” he added. “I only need to say thank you to my team-mates because what I am living here is unbelievable.

"It's impossible to explain how I'm feeling.

"It's difficult to play here against Ajax but I always believed in my team-mates. We have a lot of qualities even without key players.”
