Former Arsenal striker Thierry Henry has said that Tottenham's fine start to the Premier League season is 'worrying'.

Spurs have not suffered a league defeat since the opening day, when Kyle Walker's own goal gave Manchester United a narrow victory at Old Trafford.

Mauricio Pochettino's man have since recorded six wins and eight draws and went into Sunday's game with Newcastle knowing victory would see them leapfrog United and move into the Premier League top four.

And Henry fears Tottenham, a club which he confessed to hating in an interview earlier this year, are no longer willing to 'play it safe' by selling their best players and settling for a place in the top half of the table.

"It worries me where that club is going at the moment," the Arsenal legend explained to Sky Sports.

"Listen, I used to look at Spurs at times and say - OK it looks like they're happy to sell their best players, get money and play safe, finish seventh or eighth. But right now, they're doing it.

"They trust their youngsters - 8 players from the academy have played for the first team this season. Not cameos, they're playing."
