Brazilian great Ronaldinho feels Tottenham talisman Harry Kane is good enough to play for any team in world football.

After a record-breaking goalscoring 2017, which saw the striker score a remarkable eight hat-tricks and claim his second successive Premier League Golden Boot, Kane has already netted his 35th goal of the season.

Real Madrid have been linked with interest in Kane for some time, though Standard Sport understands Spurs will not entertain offers for any of their key players this summer with the striker their prized asset.

Ronaldinho, though, says Kane can make the step up at Santiago Bernabeu or with his former club Barcelona should the England man opt to leave north London.

“Harry Kane has been a great player for a while now – but there is no doubt this season he has hit a new level,” Ronaldinho is quoted as saying by The Mirror.

“He is now at the level where any team in the world would want him. He could walk into any team in Europe. Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester City, it doesn’t matter how strong the team.

“He is now one of those few players in the world that any team would have to make room for if they had the chance to sign him.”
