Tottenham vs Watford: Vote for your man of the match as Spurs go second

Tottenham earned a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Watford at White Hart Lane on Saturday to climb to second in the Premier League table.

Kieran Trippier broke the deadlock 64 minutes in after a fine cross from substitute Dele Alli, who started the game on the bench.

Alli was brought on at half-time as Spurs struggled to break through a determined Watford side, with Quique Sanchez Flores leaving striker Troy Deeney on the bench in favour of Mario Suarez, who make his full debut for the Hornets.

But January signing Suarez disappointed at White Hart Lane, and was replaced at the interval as Watford went in search of the win - only for Trippier to strike at the other end to send Mauricio Pochettino's men second.
