West Ham have put contract renewals on hold until the new year to prevent any distractions from their impressive run of form.

The Hammers have lost just one of their last seven in the Premier League - coming against champions Liverpool - ahead of Monday night’s visit of Aston Villa.

Captain Mark Noble and striker Michail Antonio are just two of a number of players out of contract at the end of this season.

Fabian Balbuena, Robert Snodgrass and Lukasz Fabianski will all also need fresh terms if they are to stay at the London Stadium beyond next summer, though there is no impatience from any player to reach an agreement before January.

"We’ve not been bothered too much with the contracts, we’ve been trying to get the whole club moving forward," said Moyes.

"We’ll get around the players when we think it’s the right time. So we’re focusing on the team and the games at the moment. There are several players we will need to look to probably going into the new year sometime. We try to avoid it at the moment and we’ll look at it once we get in a good strong position."

Antonio is one of a many to have an option for his deal to be extended by the club before the end of the campaign, though discussions over a fresh contract for the 30-year-old have been ongoing.
