Emmanuel Emenike has not been selected for West Ham's Premier League match against Aston Villa at Upton Park on Tuesday evening.
Emenike, 28, completed his loan move from Fenerbahce to the Hammers on Sunday, though club co-chairman David Gold had tweeted on Tuesday morning that Emenike would not be available as there were "still a few issues to be completed."
The club's official Twitter account later tweeted that the forward had been given international clearance to play, but Emenike has not been handed his debut against relegation-threatened Villa.
