David Moyes thinks West Ham have already concluded their January transfer business and are unlikely to sign the striker he has wanted for most of the month.

The Hammers have been on the lookout for a forward to support Michail Antonio since selling Sebastien Haller to Ajax early in the window.

Haller's exit was not something the club had planned for this month and they saw a number of offers knocked back for targets.

Attempts were made for Sevilla's Youssef En-Nesyri, Stade de Reims' Boulaye Dia and Montpellier's Gaetan Laborde, but none were successful.

With the transfer window shutting at 11pm GMT on Monday night, Moyes has said that West Ham are not expecting any further activity.

He remarked after Sunday’s 3-1 home defeat by Liverpool: "I don't really think we'll be active at all, I think we've probably done our business unless something changes.

"We've got a squad of players I enjoy working with and I want to concentrate on them rather than people from other clubs.

"Hopefully we can try and continue the second half of the season as well as we started the first half of the season."
