Tottenham will host Chelsea in their first Premier League match at Wembley on Sunday.

Spurs are spending a season at the national stadium while their new £800million stadium is built on the site of their former White Hart Lane home.

Mauricio Pochettino's men will be hoping to improve their Wembley record after disappointing performances in last season's Champions League group stages at the home of English football.

Spurs will mark the beginning of their season at Wembley Stadium by giving all home fans a flag for Sunday’s clash with Antonio Conte's men.

The club have taken their iconic golden cockerels from the East and West stands at White Hart Lane to Wembley. They will sit either side of a statue of World Cup-winning manager Sir Alf Ramsey in the players’ tunnel.

The Wembley pitch is the standard Premier League size of 7,140 square metres, bigger than White Hart Lane, which was 6,700sq m. The pitches at Arsenal, Watford and West Ham are all the same size as Wembley.

The turnstiles will open at 2.30pm on Sunday and Spurs are asking fans to arrive early to help with security.
