Hugo Lloris pleased with France World Cup preparation

10 April 2012

France goalkeeper Hugo Lloris reckons Les Bleus have had the perfect preparation for the World Cup and will be more than ready to face Uruguay in their Group A opener on June 11.

Les Bleus complete their warm-up friendly programme with a match against China on Reunion Island on Friday night, having beaten Costa Rica 2-1 last Wednesday and drawn 1-1 with Tunisia on Sunday.

Raymond Domenech's side face Uruguay, Mexico and hosts South Africa in their pool, and Lloris is raring to go.

The 23-year-old Lyon stopper told France Football: "Three weeks of preparation, with three warm-up games is enough to prepare a team.

"This is the most prestigious competition.

"We prepare for this event in the best of ways, with great professionalism and as a group. The World Cup is first and foremost a human adventure, to experience with team-mates.

"But it's not easy to talk before. It will be easier after."

He added: "We talked in training of being very compact and very difficult to beat. This is what we must do."
