Jose Mourinho has predicted England to top their World Cup group ahead of Belgium.

The Three Lions are in Group G, along with Tunisia, Panama and Roberto Martinez's Red Devils. The face the African nation on June 18 before Panama on June 24 and what is expected to be a showdown for top spot on June 28 with Belgium.

Mourinho was predicting the group winners and runners-up for Russian broadcaster RT and chose England as group winners to set up a last-16 clash with Poland, while Belgium will face Group H winners Senegal.

Elsewhere, Spain will face Russia in the knockout stages as Uruguay face Portugal. It will be an all-South American affair as Brazil face Mexico while Germany take on Switzerland between the Group E and F winners and runners-up.

Mourinho picked Australia to advance from Group C over Peru or Denmark, and Nigeria to advance from Group D instead of either Iceland or Croatia. France will face the Super Eagles and Australia will be up against Argentina.

The World Cup begins on June 14 as hosts Russia take on Saudi Arabia in Moscow.
