Frustration at Edgbaston

12 April 2012

No play was possible before lunch on day three of the third npower Ashes Test between England and Australia at Edgbaston.

More wet weather - after the opening day was restricted to just 30 overs - meant the start was delayed, with umpires Aleem Dar and Rudi Koertzen hoping to inspect again at 2.30pm.

England are currently 116 for two in reply to Australia's 263 all out.

Captain Andrew Strauss is unbeaten on 64, having become the first player past 300 runs in the series, while the recalled Ian Bell is 26 not out.
